Kevin Searcy is a technology leader and community advocate with deep roots in the Permian Basin. After successfully operating family businesses in the region since 2005, he leveraged technology innovation, specializing in cloud-based remote telemetry for embedded hardware systems and server-side analytics. Over the past six years, Kevin has developed cutting-edge machine learning and spatial analytics platforms specifically designed for oil and gas assets, while consulting on major software deployment and development projects across the energy sector.

Kevin serves on the board of Permian Connected, where he works to expand broadband infrastructure throughout the Permian Basin. As a commissioner for the Ector County Emergency Services District, he directs financial, impact, and feasibility studies for the development of new fire and EMS stations, ensuring critical emergency services keep pace with the region’s growth.

Deeply committed to community development, Kevin co-chairs the Sunset Youth Golf Center in Ector County and led as co-chair of the successful ECISD Bond 2023 political action campaign. His involvement extends to multiple ECISD committees focused on bond development, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and district improvement initiatives. He is actively engaged in workforce development programs for oil and gas, welding, data centers, and other high-demand sectors critical to the Permian’s economic future.

As an advocate for comprehensive community investment, Kevin champions initiatives spanning broadband access, early education, public schools, emergency services, parks, and infrastructure—understanding that sustainable growth requires investment in both technology and human capital. His unique combination of technical expertise and community leadership positions him as a bridge between the Permian’s traditional energy economy and its technological future.
