Justin is the National Electrical Lead for Burns & McDonnell’s OnSite Energy & Power group.  He’s experienced in design and construction of district energy facilities, including customer owned substations, behind the meter generation, and islanded power systems for a variety of clients ranging from utilities, universities, government facilities, hyperscale data centers and Fortune 500 companies.

With a career focused on microgrids, Justin has been involved in island-able microgrid projects from early R&D projects with electric utilities and universities that form much of the technical basis for ongoing large scale microgrid projects being deployed today.  He has island-able power generation experience of ~500MW in current operation spanning a wide variety of technologies and applications.

Benefiting from Burns & McDonnel’s top rankings in both the Data Center & Power Generation Markets, Justin has experience in working directly with hyperscalers and collocation providers  to solve their power needs.
