Rep. Brooks Landgraf

State Representative, 81st District
Texas House of Representatives

State Representative Brooks Landgraf proudly serves his fellow West Texans across Ector, Loving, Ward and Winkler counties in the Texas House of Representatives. Representative Landgraf is chairman of the House Environmental Regulation Committee, and serves as a member of the House Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence Committee, and the House Select Committee on Family and Fiduciary Relationships.

Brooks takes pride in his commitment to West Texas, his strong work ethic and his fierce advocacy for practical, conservative solutions. He’s fought to improve highways and public schools in West Texas while also working to repeal burdensome regulations that harm the Permian Basin’s economy.

Brooks is a native son of Odessa, a graduate Permian High School; Texas A&M, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, and St. Mary’s law school, where he worked as editor-in-chief of the law review. His family has been ranching in West Texas for five generations, and Brooks helps manage the family’s business operations. Landgraf is also an experienced business attorney who has worked in the energy and healthcare industries. Brooks and his wife, Shelby, live and work in Odessa, where they’re raising their daughter, Hollis Rose and attend church at St. Elizabeth’s.
